First of many.

So I heard a knock on the door the other morning, it was the postie.

YES!!!
Easy does it.
As Doc Brown would say "Great Scott!".

Yup I've given into temptation and purchased a mechanicus army.

Being a huge fan of possibly grimiest parts of the grim dark for over 20 years I'm stoked that FW have thrown so much into this army.

Giddy with excitement I tore into various bags in a hobby frenzy and started work on converting my first unit, the HQ.

The top dog. Boss of the workshop. The warlord.
Had to be a Magos Prime, (based on a Myrmidon) with all the bells, whistles and knickknacks.
Machinator array, check.
Abeyant, check.
Cyber-familiar, check.
And a chainfist for good measure.
As for order he'll belong to...

...unsure probably Malagra to up his CC ability.
WIP pics?
Servo arms and inferno pistol for the Mach array.
Chainfist arm.
And a new hood and extra cable.

As for the Abeyant, FW has just released the official mini, but I think it's far to neat and tidy. This guys will be more of a floating man cave than an office work station.
I'm thinking a workbench, like any hobbiest would have. Covered in abandoned projects, WIPs, old weapon parts ect.
Maybe floating, maybe tracked, maybe something completely off the wall.

That's all for this instalment, I'll post again shortly with progress on the mechanicum or some other project.

Laters taters.

Bring back the 80's!

Having just read this post:

http://realmofchaos80s.blogspot.co.uk/2014/09/fighting-fantasy-official-miniatures-on.html

I am champing at the bit to get my hands on some of these retro mini's!

The fighting fantasy book were a massive part of my hobby infantsy that lead to heroquest, D&D Blood Bowl ect.

If they are doing a kickstarter I'll be on it like white on rice!

Sayonara for now.

Not dead yet...

Hello chums.

I'm still here and working on some new content!

I will be moving away from the underhive (but will still post on the subject) and starting to post all my wargaming shenanigans on this blog.

Don't touch that dial...
