Nice one Jim! Some WIP's

Ahoy mates.

I'd like to dedicate this post Jim.
Without Jim these WIP's wouldn't be here.
Not because he gave me access to a bits box or anything, but for getting a damn good shoeing at the hands of my 'stealer cult.
It was a great game (for me, haha) that yielded just enough creds for a small expansion to the cult. The skull hanging from the belt on the 4th hybrid is no random decoration it's a tribute to one of the enemy, killed outright in close combat.
Still in progress, I should have some paint on them in the next few days.

The last 3 pics are the home base of Gavin's beastman gang.
He chose to form the gang around the Ratskin list, with some minor changes.
I hope to get pics of the full gang shortly and get the man himself to write up the reasons why and how conversions were conceived, with a bit of fluff to back it up.

Enjoy.

The gangs: Van Saar.

A new gang to add to the list, this time Van Saar.

This was a pretty straight forward kit bash using bits from various imperial kits, all plastic.

This dude is the leader, a heavy will follow shortly, followed by the completed Pa Klopek.

Enjoy.

The Klopeks, nearly there.

The Klopeks, much feared in the sumps are ready for paint!
Conversion work was completed yesterday and I thought I'd share.

'Pa' Klopek turned out very well as a missionary that's lost his way. And I'm looking forward to painting the two headed twist.

I've also added a PIP of the colour palate to be used through the gang,

This has been a very enjoyable and challenging project so far, and the painting should be more so...

25 years in the making.

Another contribution from Chris, a rogue trader imperial robot!
This bad boy has been knocking around a bits box for years, but after feeling the buzz of Inq28, it was dug out and given some love.

Enjoy, it's a great piece.

First tower done!

As the title says the first hive tower and a couple of walkways are complete!

Building up layers of grime, rust and general filth is surprisingly time consuming.

I think it's turned out suitable grim dark, let me know what you think. Enjoy

Something old, something new...

Greetings.

Tonight I've got some pics contributed by my old gaming chum Chris.
Chris is the man behind the civilian NPC models. You saw the water seller, right?

We start off with some golden oldie plastic Goliath gangers painted a lot of years ago.

The we move on to the first painted civilian model, a preacher.
A straight forward conversion with an awesome paint job.

And then for you Inq28 fans, we have an adeptus mechanicus heavy tracked servitor. This is a beast of a mini, again with a bang on paint job.

Painting has also started on the scenery with the first structure and couple of walk ways nearly done.

Stay tuned and enjoy.
